We recently implemented a new website for the established IT services and IT equipment installer, Crew-Tech. The company has been operating for more than 10 years in this industry and needed a new generation of website that would fit its professional, corporate image. Using our professional graphic designers, we designed a new corporate branding, which was utilized in the new website design.
The entire website is Content Managed, which means that the customer can log in to an online administration section on the website and update the information which is published on the site. They can update the following content: The Welcome Message on the “Home Page”, the summaries of other pages on the “Home Page”, the company information under “About us”, add/change “Services” information, add/change “Products information”, update their clients list on the “Partners” page, add/change recent “Projects” and update their contact details on the “Contact Us” page.
The Content Management System used on the websites for our clients is developed by Outsource Genius and boasts very stringent security features, to give you the peace of mind that the information on your website will not be prone to changes and attacks by malicious users on the Internet.
We recently revolutionized the branding and website for Polygon Technologies' flagship product, called GSM Commander. This product allows you to monitor and control a very wide variety of electronic devices in a wide variety of markets, using your mobile phone.
The challenge for this product and its website was creating a new branding image, that would effectively communicate the benefits and features of this product to its wide variety of customers. How do you sell a product that can basically be anything in any kind of market? After extensive brainstorming and deliberating over market research, we found the common denominator - the one benefit that this product was giving to all its clients was "Peace of mind". Whether you are monitoring the refrigerators in your supermarket, or controlling pumps on your farm, this product gives you total control and peace of mind, even when you aren't there. Subsequently we changed the branding for the product to use the softer, "heavenly" feel which communicates this peace of mind to its customers.
To effectively communicate the products' large amount of uses to its various customers, we decided to have a dedicated information area for each of its different kind of markets. We also made extensive use of Seach Engine Optimization to increase traffic to the website and added CAPTCHA image-based security to the "Contact Us" page, to prevent SPAMmers from abusing this page. The Contact Us page also allows routing of different kinds of requests to different email addresses (e.g. Sales, Support, etc.). The website gives customers the Skype contact details for support, as well as having a News section, Frequently Asked Questions section and Newsletters subscription for customers to stay up to date.
In addition to this we also implemented a very user friendly downloads page, which automatically gives you the latest PC software version supporting your product, by simply entering the serial number on your product. We have completed the design of an integrated online ecommerce shop for this website as well, which is going live soon.
We recently completed a software project for the TextAlert product, supplied by Wireless Alert, which is one of the leading security products in the world. This product monitors wireless motion sensing devices (with devices up to a range of 1 km from the unit) and has the ability to intelligently make decisions based on preprogrammed rules.
When a certain predetermined trigger condition arises, the unit alerts the relevant persons via
preprogrammed SMS text messages to mobile phones, describing the event that occurred. The product can also be armed and controlled via SMS messages from mobile phones.
To enable a new generation of products with additional features, we designed a software communication protocol that allows the device to communicate to software running on a specific secure website, which we designed and implemented. This additional feature will allow the next generation of products to have amazing internet capabilities: The possibility for users to receive emails when events occur, the ability to monitor events on a website, the ability for specific designated users or companies to monitor a specific system in the field, the ability to update the configuration of devices remotely via the website, and many more features.
